Langkah untuk merecover file DBF yang rusak oleh virus KSPOOLD
Kerusakan data yang disebabkan oleh virus KSPOOLD adalah mengganti header dari file yang berekstensi DBF (Kalau file data dbf yg sudah diganti ekstensinya tidak diserang). Karena header setiap file dbf tidak sama ukurannya, ini tergantung dari jumlah field, maka untuk file yang jumlah fieldnya sedikit, virus bisa menyerang record. Hal ini saya perhatikan karena disengaja oleh pembuatnya agar ukuran file tidak berubah.
Untuk memperbaiki header file dbf yang rusak bisa dilakukan dengan bantuan utility UltraEdit yang dapat di download versi trial nya di :

Langkah perbaikan :
1. Buka file dbf yang rusak dengan UltraEdit.
2. Buka file yang masih baik dgn struktur yang sama dengan file yang rusak, atau buat file baru yang strukturnya sama dgn file yang rusak.
3. Blok header data yang clean mulai dari batas header dgn record sampai ke awal file, klik kanan pilih copy.
4. Blok header data yang rusak mulai dari batas antara header dgn record sampai awal file, klik kanan pilih paste.
5. Simpan data yang rusak dgn cara masuk ke Menu, Pilih File lalu Save. Perbaikan data tahap pertama sudah selesai, hasilnya masih belum bisa dibaca oleh VFP, karena jumlah record yang tercatat pada data yang rusak tidak sama dengan yang di kopikan.
6. Perbaikan selanjutnya saya menggunakan tool yang berfungsi untuk memperbaiki header file dbf yg kerusakannya tidak parah dgn Tabel Repair Utility (Program Terlampir).
7. Klik Pilih File, cari file yang disimpan melalui UltraEdit,
8. Klik Tombol Ganti Pada baris jumlah Recor
9. Klik Tombol Ganti Pada baris ukuran file
10. Bila File yg Anda Recover mempunyai Field Memo sedangkan file memonya tidak tersedia, ubah Table Flag menjadi Has CDX File, kemudian klik Ganti.
11. Klik Buka File …untuk membuka file yang sudah di recover, pada bagian bawah terdapat record sampah, buang saja .. !
Data yang rusak sudah bisa diselamatkan.

Update manual (kaspersky/NOD32/AVG)

Untuk mengupdate anti virus kaspersky secara offline adalah sebagai berikut :
1. Silakan masuk ke situs kaspersky dengan meng-klik http://www.kaspersky.com/avupdates
2. Ada dua alternatif download versi 5 dan versi 6 sedangkan satunya lagi kaspersky anti spam saya rasa ini tidak perlu jadi silakan cek anti virus yang anda pakai versi berapa?.
3. Jika anda memakai versi 5 silakan arahkan mouse anda ke 5.0 product using archieves, dan klik av-i386-cumul.zip pilih lokasi yang kira2 dekat dengan kita, klik salah satunya aja.
4. Download file archives tersebut setelah download unzip foldernya kemudian tempatkan pada salah satu folder di flashdisk ataupun langsung ke harddisk, kemudian buka kaspersky dengan cara klik kanan pada gambar kaspersky yang berada pada sudut kanan paling ujung open kaspersky.
5. Ubah option setting update from biasanya dua alternatif internet dan folder select pada folder dan cari dimana folder update tersebut anda simpan.
6. Bila anda menggunakan kaspersky versi 6 anda harus punya media (salah satu komputer yang terkoneksi dengan internet), setelah anda update secara otomatis cari file update dan copykan ke media lainnya apakah flasddisk atau media penyimpanan lainnya setelah itu lakukan perubahan pada setting konfirusi update kaspersky secara manual untuk detailnya silakan anda kunjungi link berikut ini http://www.kaspersky.com/faq?&qid=187263764

AVG
Untuk dapat meng-update AVG antivirus anda secara offline paling tidak anda harus mempunyai AVG antivirus yang terinstall di komputer, yang bisa langsung diupdate via internet (online) sebagai sumbernya. Kalo tidak punya ya anda bisa meng-update-nya dari warnet .Utk meng-update-nya perhatikanlah versi AVG antivirusnya apakah free, atau yang berlisence. Kita tidak dapat meng-update AVG free edition menggunakan file signature versi lisence demikian sebaliknya.
File signature AVG antivirus disimpan dalam suatu format file berekstensi *.bin, seperti u7iavi864u863th.bin. Dalam file2 ini AVG antivirus meng-update database signature virusnya.
File2 tersebut biasanya disimpan di folder c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\grisoft\avg7data\upd7bin\.
Nah disinilah file-file *.bin tersebut berada, anda dapat meng-copy nya langsung ke flash disk atau ke harddisk anda, untuk kemudian “check for updates” AVG antivirus anda dan mengarahkannya ke tempat file update (*.bin) tersebut berada. Jika AVG mengenali ada update terbaru akan muncul dialog dilayar “New Update File was found. Do You want to Update your AVG Now?. Kilik Yes utuk meng-update database signature anda.. Anda dapat mengecek apakah database signature AVG anda sudah terupdate, di bagian information - about, anda dapat melihat release date nya.

NOD32
NOD32 Update Generator berguna untuk NOD32 yang tidak punya akses ke internet. Syaratnya 1 dari sekian komputer harus bisa update ke internet. Nanti dari komputer yang online tersebut, baru digunakan NOD32 Update Generator untuk menghasilkan file update untuk NOD32 yang tidak online. Setelah mendapat file update, tinggal di copy aja di media lain. Kemudian jalankan NOD32 di komputer yang tidak online ke internet, lalu pilih update - setup - server - add. Kemudian arahkan dimana file update tadi disimpan. Misal di c:\program filles\eset\nod32\. Setelah keluar klik aja update now. Lihat di bagian status, kalo version of virus signature database bertambah, proses update berhasil.
